April Dew

…bedewing a withered thought

About

THE BLOG

April Dew is a personal blog created with the hope of inspiring readers from the writer’s experiences, adventures, and interesting discoveries and chronicles including anybody else’s experiences which she thinks can be inspiring too.

THE TITLE

The month of April is one of the hottest months here in the Philippines. This is also because dry season usually starts around this month. And when I say ‘hot’, I mean scorching hot. This season could mean long period of drought. FYI, the writer’s name is also April.

Dew on the other hand, means moisture or water droplets. These droplets are so adorable that I could think of a lot of wonderful things just by looking at them. However, you can rarely see these droplets in April (especially the ones on a leaf or a flower).

Putting April and dew together is like the writer is wishing rain in the midst of a very hot season to somehow lessen the agony of a plant longing for water to kiss her.

Let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time like dew on the tip of a leaf.
-Rabindranath Tagore
